Yollarda - European Literature Goes to Turkey/Turkish Literature Goes to Europe
For the project "Yollarda" which involves various countries, a total of 48 notable authors from 8 European countries came to Turkey and with a program composed of numerous films, photographic works and concerts visited 24 cities in Turkey. During the tour, a "bookmobile" accompanied the artists, which offered the visitors opportunity to examine and read works by the authors and also access to internet workstations and various audio-visual equipment.
In each city covered by the project, European Cultural Week events were organized which held bilingual interactive readings, discussions, concerts and exhibitions. In readings and video workshops which took place at universities and high schools, and through an interactive Weblog, young audience were given the chance to directly participate in contemporary European art and culture.

With the collaboration of Goethe Institute and Dicle University Film Club
The program featured Paul Greengrass's Bloody Sunday, Ken Loach's The Wind That Shakes the Barley, Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes Of Heaven and Steve McQueen's Hunger, and talks were held in Diyarbakır and Batman with the participation of Don Mullan, the co-producer of Bloody Sunday and assistant producer of Five Minutes Of Heaven, Prof. John Hill from London University and Kemal Yıldızhan from Diyarbakır Art Centre. Talks in İzmir featured Prof. Dr. Ertan Yılmaz and Hüseyin Karabey, and in Mardin, Hüseyin Kuzu.
The screenings of Films from Northern Ireland in Anatolia was realized with the support of British Council.
