Art Without Borders

Works in the exhibition began to be assembled in 2004. The exhibition was first presented in Yerevan, in August 2006. Following that, the exhibition was also held in Tbilisi in October 2006, and in Tehran in May 2007. With the Istanbul exhibition, 'Art Without Borders' completed its first tour.

The exhibition featured the works of 6 artists from Armenia, 5 from Georgia, 7 from Iran and 7 from Turkey. Most of the works have social and political content, and many different techniques, from digital reproductions to classical paintings, from video art to photography and from installations to mixed media were used.

The exhibition was realized by the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art with the support of Karşı Sanat Çalışmaları, Open Society Institute, Arts and Culture Network Budapest, Chrest Foundation and Anadolu Kültür.
