All Together Pilot Workshop has been realized in Essen

The All Together Pilot Workshop was held on 18 – 21 January 2019 in Essen. Six working groups that are in different phases of output development have shared their materials with each other and experienced the products all together. The workshop continued with the individual group sessions where the products re-evaluated in line with interactively given feedback.. For the upcoming piloting period, participants offered implementing partners as well as piloting suggestions to each other. They had the opportunity to widen the project network and multiply possibilities of dissemination of the outputs to be delivered in June 2019.


On the first day of the workshop, a session was held in which all the working groups were gathered within themselves before the presentations and they were asked to answer questions such as how to make a presentation and which item of the material they would like to receive feedback from.

Those who performed their presentations on the first day of the workshop are; Maxi Game, MeloBe and Space for Inclusion groups.

After their presentation, Maxi Game group split the 16 volunteers from the participants into two and made them simultaneously played the game by two groups of participants. The experience was then shared with the group in a collective feedback session.


 

After their presentation, Space for Inclusion group asked from all participants to read any section of the material within 15 minutes and give specific feedback on the topics of “Language”, “Expectations/Goal” and “Target Group”. After the reading was done, the group had the opportunity to collect feedback from the participants.

MeloBe group presented the material, first through verbal presentation and then through beamer. After the presentations, the group started to implement the body percussion which is part of their material, according to the instructions in their tutorial video with one of the six melodies that they were created, it’s called “Drops”. The implementation took about 20 minutes. After the implementation, the group had the opportunity to collect feedback in the circle of all participants.

Those who performed their presentations on the second day of the workshop are; Learning Multilingualism, Dancing Together, ArTogether groups.

Memory Game group, after presenting their material, split the participants into two different rooms and implemented all versions of the game. Experiences were shared with the group in a collective feedback session after all the participants experienced the game.

 


After presenting activity cards and other items in the content of the material, ArTogether group implement the activity they called the music/sound activity with 10 volunteers from the participants. ArTogether has requested feedback from participants as to what is missing and what can be added in the box. After the session, the group had the opportunity to collect feedback from the participants.


Dancing Matters group presented the material first by a verbal presentation and then through projection. After the presentation, the group started to implemented the first target dance “Bagiye” in accordance with the instructions in the tutorial video material, which took about 15 minutes. After the implementation, the group had the opportunity to collect feedback in the circle of all participants

After the presentations of all the groups, they have started a session where they would suggest an implementation and piloting place to each other for the piloting period. In this session, 1 or 2 people representing their group stayed on the same table, allowing the other group members to go around the tables and offer suggestions and piloting place to the other groups. As a result of the session lasting about 1 hour, the participants had the opportunity to expand the project network for these materials and to increase the opportunities for dissemination.

In the morning of third and the last day of the workshop, a visual presentation about the website, which is planned to be opened in the upcoming months, and legal information regarding the protection of personal data were made by the project management team. In the afternoon, there was a cultural programme for participants, and it’s a visit to the Zeche Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
